In honor of Canada Day, show us your favorite Canadian.
Joshua Jackson
Joshua Carter Jackson is a Canadian actor. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to an American father and an Irish-born mother. He currently divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver. Previously he lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, where the television program Dawson's Creek was filmed.
Joshua grew up in California and Seattle until age 8, when he moved back to Vancouver with his mother and younger sister. Soon after he took up acting, landing a role in a commercial for Keebler's Potato Chips. He is best known for the role of Pacey Witter on Dawson's Creek, but he has also appeared in several movies including Cruel Intentions, The Mighty Ducks series, Apt Pupil, Scream 2, The Laramie Project and The Skulls. In 2005 he was one of the few actors to be considered for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in "Batman Begins". He will next appear in the all-star ensemble drama Bobby, directed by Emilio Estevez, Joshua's co-star from The Mighty Ducks.
Joshua is left-handed and is 6 foot 2. Joshua dated two of his Dawson's Creek co-stars: actress Katie Holmes in 1998, and actress Brittany Daniel in 1999-2000. Joshua also dated Rosario Dawson and has currently been spotted kissing Diane Kruger whilst on vacation in Paris.
He is by far my most favourite Canadian! My first celebrity crush, the pretty and oh so witty Joshua Jackson!Enjoy your Wednesday vox-ers!

I joined the City of Sydney library yesterday with Paul. The night before i stumbled across its website and was instantly drawn to the 20 item borrow limit! I loved it sick! I really haven't borrowed from a library since high school since i always seem to incur fines at my uni libraries so i just haven't bothered into getting into that habit.
So on monday Paul and I went and joined the library, which is located in the customs house at Circular Quay. This is where you will find the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is such a pretty library. It looked more like a modern art museum instead of a place that houses thousands of books.
To celebrate my membership i borrowed The Art of Dying Young: Vicious by Mark Paytress. Its an interesting look into the life and short times of Sid Vicious, the drummer of infamous punk rock band the Sex Pistols. So far so good. He was such a character yet seemed to throw away his life all for the heck of it, well for the sake of being true to the anarchy that punk rock exuded. He was the epitomy of punk. I want to finish it by the end of this week. That's my goal.
My bag carries a lot of other crap like lip balm, work ID, iPod, keys, film, pens, money purse and of course my phone. I can't quite imagine my life without my phone, it would be like losing a child. dramatic much?
I have a couple of final assessments to complete by the end of this week as well. I have a major work for sculpture due on monday and a major work for graphic design due next friday. I really need to get my shit together and start. Procrastinating is how i roll i guess, which might just be the end of me one day.
I better go to bed so i can wake up early and have some sculpture time before work tomorrow. Enjoy the tuesday vox-ers :-)

My room is an absolute mess at the moment...ok i lie its been in this state for the whole of summer! i just can't seem to find anywhere to put all my belongings anymore. My shelves are over crowded and everything is falling onto the floor and turning into piles.
I promise to clean my room by the end of this week.
I had a full day at uni today. I was half hour late to photography but thank goodness my lecturer likes me so he let it slide. I then had graphics and we learnt how to use Illustrator today. I had fun using it. We even got an early mark! I stayed back though to finish off last weeks exercise that i missed.
I over indulged and ate an entire box of chocolate cookies through the course of my uni day as well. All to myself! I feel ill now considering i just made myself spicy noodles! Urgh! I cannot wait to go grocery shopping on friday night! Cheese, crackers and tuna here i come!
Enjoy your tuesday vox-ers!
Show us a simple pleasure you've enjoyed recently.
Good Food + Good Company = Good Times.
Adam's friends from Brisbane came down for Mardi Gras tonight and we all had dinner together! It was a hoot! However, i've got to say that i am oh so stuffed.
Its been so gloomy today. So many flights were delayed today at work which meant that more grumpy passengers were sitting around in the lounge for us to deal with. Once again i have weaseled my way out of studying and am sitting on the computer. I swear i will go up straight after this post.
I love it when it rains. It makes me think about all the what ifs and nots. Lately i have been wanting to move out. Not away from the boys but just out of this house. When home is no longer making you happy you know its time to bust a move right? I just don't know how to get everyone else to get into the same frame of mind and want to move asap! Its tough. I mean i don't want to leave the guys. Thats the last thing on earth i want to do. But the thought of being in this house for much longer is actually painful.
Speaking of rain i need gumboots or some sort of footwear suitable for rainy days because at the moment all i own is flats and converse taylors. Not exactly shoes prone to keeping out water.
Enjoy the weekend vox-ers and i shall see you all soon :-)
Show us a photo of somewhere you want to go.
This is absolutely where i want to go!!! Amsterdam.....i know i know there are many negative connotations with the place but it really is a beautiful city and where else better in the world to chill out in other than this place!
The boys and i are actually planning to make a trip of it in october/november this year. I just have to see if i can get time off uni for all these fun adventures that lay ahead!
Not much has happened since i last voxed. I'm the happiest i've ever been right now...its great no complaints what so ever!
Hope all of my fellow vox-ers are in as good form! :-)
Show us what makes you want to get out of bed in the morning.
I am absolutely addicted to Oporto! Its a fast food chicken burger joint here in Sydney with a secret chilli sauce created by a Portuguese migrant named Antonio Cerquiera. I am a freak. Yes. Yes. I wake up knowing that the Bondi burger is literally around the corner. That it will be in my sweaty palms and devoured within a minute upon purchase. I love this burger. It sobers me up, makes me smile and drowns my sorrows. God bless this burger! It also doesn't hurt to have fantastic company with you whilst enjoying such tasty delights! I like to take one of the fantastic boys i live with or Sim'on.I hope everyone has had a great 2008 so far. Mine has been somewhat unhealthy but i have enjoyed every moment so far. I had to stick with my retail job and quit that new restaurant gig i got since they wouldn't give me Field Day day off! I was upset but needed to go to Field Day. Its the party that makes or breaks my year!
I've been spending heaps of time with Musti. Its a good thing. He's great company. Its weird how people come back into your lives. I honestly thought that we would never cross paths after the last time i saw him. I just thought it was a dead end to it. I guess i was wrong....
I am so broke as well, so i'm hitting the job find section in this weekends paper to find something to fill my bank account. I really want to save for my intended trip to Amsterdam with the boys...i so cannot wait!!!
I will post photos up from Field Day soon. Just need to get a copy of them since they were deleted off my camera!
Till next time vox-ers be safe and keep smiling!!!
Show us a good time.
